Q.Good luck this week David. Let\'s hope that you play as well as you did last year.
A.Thanks Paul, certainly looking forward to the week, great course and great country.
Q.Why do you mark your ball with a shamrock?
A.Hi Fergus, the reason for the shamrock is that my Mum\'s Irish so have Irish roots and hopefully it brings me luck too. Regards, Dave
Q.I just want to check you are the same David Horsey that played in the Henry Cooper Junior Masters. Trying to stay up to date with ex HCJM players.
A.Hi Steve, yes that most certainly is me! Cheers, David
Q.Hi David Thought you played great last year. Why specifically are you playing in the South African Open. Kind Regards Paul
A.Thanks Paul Am playing SA mainly because I’ve had some time off over the holidays and I’m missing Qatar so it\'s nice to play a couple of events in a row to start the season. Cheers, Dave
Q.Hi Dave, what\'s it like the week of playing in a major and which do you most want to win?
A.Hi Harley, With absolute no hesitation, definitely The Open. I haven’t payed one since 2009 now but hopefully will change that starting next year. It\'s just what most players try to peak for. Always a very busy week, so keeping fresh and ready for Thursday always a challenge. I try not to treat it any differently to any other event, as you should always try and keep consistency in your prep. Any questions in future Harley, my twitter name is @davehorsey.
Q.Did you start at the Maybank or did you withdraw before starting due to your injury? I ask because I had a bet on you to win. Best wishes, Helen.
A.Hi Helen, love your confidence in me - sadly I retired after I had started round one due to hip and back pain. Knee op next week so off games until Open de Espana. Will be back stronger! Cheers, Dave.
Q.Hi, I hope it's ok but I've named my fantasy race to dubai team Dave Horsey fan club
A.Hi George, thanks for that - feel very honoured! Cheers, Dave
